Echtes Leder - ADAM CSOKA KELLER

As dawn rises a new life is born. Borne from decay, rotting flesh prompts obliteration. We disappear, consumed by creatures the cycle complete. Decay nourishes creation, from dust, matter; a blank slate. From birth our skin retains the impressions of our existence, impregnable stories created by time. We form an identity, entwined in a visceral mesh: hatching, breathing, feeling. Artificial synthesis, real leather.
“Echtes Leder” explores creation after deterioration and death’s role in sustaining humanity. It contains an original score by V.R. Alevizos and is directed by Adam Csoka Keller as an experimental short for SHOWstudio, London.

About

Born in Slovakia, Adam Csoka Keller is an award-winning film director. After completing his studies at Central Saint Martins in London, his hands-on experiences and early works challenged conventional narratives and pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling. Adam has traversed various genres, from thought-provoking documentaries to commissioned works and branded collaborations. His films are marked by a distinctive style, a deep exploration of the human condition, and reflection on the intricacies of identity, culture, and society.
