Born in Bratislava, Slovakia, just two years after the Velvet Revolution ended decades of communism, Adam Csoka Keller pursues a direction in film and video while redefining what it means to be a multidisciplinary image-maker in today’s society. Drawing heavily upon Cold War-era architecture and aesthetics, Adam’s work fuses fashion, movement, and set design.
After having completed his MA in Visual Communication at Central Saint Martins in London he took part in a moving image residency at the Institute of Contemporary Arts - London. Adam was awarded ‘Best New Director’ at the Fashion Film Festival Milano 2017 and selected as a finalist for the SHOWstudio Fashion Film Awards, the Austrian American Short Film Festival and Diane Pernet’s ASVOFF.
